As a family, we packed up our newly purchased minivan and headed out for a weekend trip to Grass Valley for some relaxation and time with friends. Yes, I said minivan. Do you hear the theme song from the movie Vacation yet? Unlike Vacation, our car worked fantastically, and we had a good time! Our friends Andy and Alicia have a daughter Samantha who is about 6 weeks younger than Avery, and we had a fun time watching the two interact.

And despite the inherent references to being a soccer mom etc., the minivan has proven itself quite convenient in the short time we have owned it. We love it already!
