However, that was not exactly the reaction Avery had when we reintroduced her to the winter wonder.
While she loves to be outside, and didn't seem to mind the cold weather, she was content to observe the snow and snow activities from the comfort of anyone's arms so she wouldn't have to walk in it. Here she is enjoying watching everyone from the back of Papa's truck.
Never one to give up early, Papa tried to persuade her to the white stuff by forming the snow into snow balls for her. She did like this. But she was a little confused when these balls didn't bounce or roll when she threw them.
And to continue the experience with even another sense, Papa gave her some to eat. Don't worry! It was fresh, without a hint of dirt or yellow tint.
Then she began to like the experience...

Maybe next year she will want to actually play in the snow!
