Avery's mobility is improving by leaps and bounds! She went from essentially wriggling on the ground with a little forward motion (remember the previous video post), to finally actually crawling on her knees. Then the next day she pulled herself to standing and the following day she started cruising along furniture! Our little slug decided she was going to move and off she went. With this new freedom found in mobility, Avery was anxious to try out her new skills and started using every thing she could to practice. And then she decided to use the television. Our giant, old, VERY heavy television which was resting on a wheeled tv stand not designed for that television. Precarious to say the least. We woke up with no certain plans on a Monday morning and found ourselves in the midst of a babyproofing/springcleaning whirlwind. Then all of the sudden ,we had decided that what would be best for the entire situation would be to buy a new tv that we could mount to the wall and would free up more space. HOW DID THAT HAPPEN? Nonetheless, that Monday morning turned in to be the day that Daddy had been waiting for; for a long time. He was all smiles....after the installation.

I told Chip that if he didn't watch programs with so many flashing lights and words she wouldn't be so interested. Then again perhaps she will grow up loving finance, stocks and CNBC.
And beginning to pull herself up. I would have gotten a picture of her standing, but had to hold the TV to keep it from toppling over.
